This page lists insurance offers that New Zealand insurers have published on their own websites, with the closing date where one is published, who qualifies, and the date we read the page. Every entry links to the insurer’s own page so you can check it yourself. Everything here was read on 8 September 2026.

An offer is not a reason to buy the wrong cover. A free month or a gift card is worth a fraction of what the wrong policy wording costs at claim time, and it is worth nothing at all on cover you did not need. Decide what you need first, compare the wording, and treat an offer as a tiebreaker between two policies you would have been happy with either way.
Offers change without notice and an insurer can end one early. Before you act on anything here, open the insurer’s page and read its terms. If you find something on this page that is out of date, the insurer is right and we are wrong, so please tell us.
Offers with a published closing date
4 New Zealand insurers were publishing a time-limited offer when we checked, and each of them names the date it ends. Applying before a closing date is usually not enough on its own: most of these also require the policy to be issued, or premiums to be paid, by a later date, which is the condition people miss.

Standing discounts with no closing date
These are not promotions and they are not going anywhere next month, but they are the ones that actually change what a household pays. They come off the premium every year rather than once, so a standing discount is usually worth more over the life of a policy than any of the time-limited offers above.
AIA Vitality
Life, income protection and trauma
A 10% discount on the insurance premium for the first year for adding the AIA Vitality wellbeing programme to an eligible policy, rising to as much as 20% with engagement.

Who we checked and found nothing
A list of offers with no list of absences is a list of whoever happens to be advertising. These insurers were checked on the same day as everyone above, and either published nothing or could not be read. An absence here is not a criticism: several of the largest insurers in this market simply do not run consumer promotions.

Asteron Life Limited
Nothing published on its own site. Its live offer runs only through the AA Life channel above.
Momentum Life Limited
No promotion published on momentumlife.co.nz.
Pinnacle Life Limited and OneChoice
No time-limited promotion published; the OneChoice site published none at all.
Accuro
accuro.co.nz now redirects to a rebrand notice; the live discount pages sit on unimed.co.nz.
Acenda
acenda.co.nz would not open for us on the day we checked, so we can say nothing either way.
How this page is put together
- An offer goes on this page only if it was read on the insurer’s own website. Nothing here comes from a comparison site, a press summary or an affiliate feed.
- Each entry names the licensed entity that carries the risk, which is often not the brand on the advertising. Two of the offers above are underwritten by an insurer whose name is not on the front of the page.
- No price appears on this page. QuoteHub does not publish premiums, and the value of a gift card is on the insurer’s own page where it belongs.
- The read date on each entry is the day someone opened that page. It is not moved forward unless the page is read again.
